Golden Melody International Music Competition

    2. Select your competition group based on age or special category, review the repertoire requirements, and confirm whether you are applying to the Amateur or Professional division. Each contestant may apply for multiple groups.
    3. Click "Apply" in the top-right corner and complete the online application form. A confirmation email will be sent upon submission.
    4. Applicants are responsible for keeping track of all important dates. The Golden Melody Committee will send competition schedules and related information one week prior to the competition.
    5. Online contestants must review the video submission deadline and upload their performance video to YouTube, OneDrive, or Google Drive, then email the video link to goldenmelodyimc@gmail.com by the specified deadline. The video must have clear audio quality and be labeled with the contestant's name and repertoire title.
    6. Application Fees:
      • Preliminary Round: $150
      • Final Round: $280
    7. All contestants admitted to the Final Round will be invited to perform at the Awards Ceremony and Concert.
    8. No additional fees are required. The application fee includes the performance fee and concert admission tickets.

Purpose of the Competition

Golden Melody (Golden Melody International Music Competition) aims to promote the art of piano performance, support emerging talent, enhance performance standards, and raise cultural awareness. It seeks to inspire a love of music in both performers and audiences by providing a professional platform for pianists to showcase their artistry and share musical ideas.

Golden Melody is open to participants of all ages and skill levels. We welcome both aspiring and accomplished pianists.

The competition upholds the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness. All performances will be evaluated strictly in accordance with the official scoring criteria by a panel of professional judges.
